What is the age range for the Prince and Princess Contest?
The age range for contestants is 4 to 6 years by 9/15/23
What is the deadline to enter?
Completed Contestant Entry Forms and
contestant photographs must be submitted to a board member no later than 8/19/23.
Who should I contact if I have questions about the Prince and Princess Contest?
A meet and greet date is set 8/19/23 (12 p.m.-2 p.m.) at the Frankton Heritage Days Building to explain all rules and details. All questions about the Prince and Princess Contest should be directed to 765-635-4048 or email npulley529@yahoo.com
Does the photograph of my child have to be a professional photo?
No, photographs of the contestant may be candid or professional. ***A date will be announced to have the Call Leader photograph court contestants.
Is there a contest entry fee for the Prince & Princess Contest?
No. Contest entry is free for all children who wish to enter.
Who can enter the Frankton Heritage Days Prince and Princess Contest?
The Prince and Princess Contest is open to all children ages 4 to 6 years by 9/15/23. Contestant must reside in Frankton or attend Frankton Elementary
School. Former Princess/Prince is ineligible. Former contestants may enter again.
When is the crowning of the Prince and Princess?
The Prince and Princess winners will be announced and crowned on stage at the festival at 1 p.m. Sat. 9/16/23 (formal wear is expected). Each participant will
receive a “goodie bag”.
Parade Participation:
All candidates are strongly encouraged to participate in the Heritage Days Parade with a personal float or vehicle acknowledging the candidate. (Candy CAN NOT be thrown during parade.) A Jeep club volunteers every year to drive candidates in the parade if you do not wish to drive your own vehicle.
When does voting begin and how do I collect votes?
Voting begins August 19, 2023. All funds are due to be turned in on September 9, 2023 10am-12pm at the Frankton Heritage Days Building. More details for how to vote/collect funds will be provided at the 8/19 meeting.
